Jul 14 2014 My Mother moved into Aberdeen House almost 2 years ago and I can only say how pleased I have been with her care. The home is small and the residents are all treated with respect. I always feel welcome, I can visit as often as I like, My Mothers care is always discussed with her and I, so we know why she is being given medication or treatment. My Mother was admitted to hospital recently and I was so pleased when she was able to return to Aberdeen House as the staff had got to know Mums needs & moods and were able to help her recover. The staff are nearly or local and always welcome you in a friendly manner, you are never made to feel that you are inconveniencing them and if you meet them out and about they are always friendly. I love that the home has a board with activities for the month on and that they put on special days where relatives are always invited, the latest was a Victorian tea party enjoyed by all. I would have no hesitation in recommending Aberdeen House to anyone, I had to fight to get Mother near me but it was definitely worth it as I am able to visit everyday.
