The Kathleen Rutland Home for the Blind offers care for up to 47 older people who have a sensory impairment and includes up to 20 people with dementia. The home is set in its own grounds, with mature garden, lawn and patio area. The home is close to a busy main road and can be reached by public or private transport. There is car parking available for visitors to use. The accommodation is over two floors and the upper floor can be accessed via the lift, stair lift or the stairs. All the bedrooms are single rooms with en-suite facility and close to bathrooms. There are choices of communal sitting areas for people to use and a large dining room. |
