It is situated in a tree-lined residential street in Bedford close to shops, public transport and local amenities. The Home provides residential and respite care in an environment where residents feel safe, relaxed and comfortable. We are continually told by residents and their families that The Mallards is like being &at home&.

Jun 23 2016 The Mallards is a wonderful care home. My Nan moved there 2 years ago after the really hard decision that she could no longer live in her own home. She was made to feel welcome and the staff all were so caring to her, I was her main carer in her own home and felt bad that she could not go back home after a fall. I have not once regretted picking The Mallards and know she was always being well looked after by all the staff. My nan passed away Monday and I know she was happy and comfortable right to the end. The staff were like a second family to me and nan I will be forever greatful for that.
