Mallard house is split into 2 units, Oakley and Brunel. We provide a safe, homely and nurturing environment with specially designed lounges, landscaped sensory gardens and light open spaces to suit a variety of physical and mental health needs
Brunel, located on the top floor of Mallard House, is situated in the heart of Grange Farm, a local community in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire with easy access to shops, leisure facilities and public transport.Our 24 bed Brunel Unit specialises in care for people aged 18 upwards who have a neurological condition with complex rehabilitation needs such as acquired brain injury and spinal cord injuries.
We offer the highest quality of on-going specialised care tailored to the resident’s individual needs, be it 24 hour nursing care, respite care, day or night care.
Brunel also has two rehabilitation flats for residents who a preparing to return home, or require short term assessments and rehabilitation to enable them to live safely in the community.
Oakley is located on the ground floor of Mallard House. Our Oakley Unit offers individualised and highly supportive care for people aged 18 years upwards with progressive neurological conditions and complex healthcare needs including difficult and diverse behaviours such as Huntington’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Muscular Dystrophy, cerebral injuries and other progressive neurological conditions. We also provide a permanent respite room allowing residents to make short stays for rehabilitation, medication reviews or when family are away. Our highly skilled and multi-disciplinary team are able to anticipate the needs of our residents and plan their individual care accordingly, which includes therapeutic activities that reflect residents personal hobbies and interests.

Dec 22 2015 My Mother was here for almost a year until her death. we could visit at any time and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Mum was very well looked after and the home definitely passes the 'would you place your mother here' test. mum loved the staff here and was always praising them for their care, and she could be cantankerous at times.
