Before our father, aged 95, went into Thackley Green (for short term care after a fall and following a stay in hospital in Jan/Feb 2014) we phoned to ask if we could look around. We were invited to do so that same day and even though it was obviously a busy time the assistant manageress showed us around personally and answered all the questions we had.. We thought the building itself was well designed. The bedrooms were spacious and there were even some apartments! The communal rooms were well laid out too. We were impressed and even more so once he actually got there. The staff were kind and caring and very knowledgeable. They always had time to answer our questions and were most accomodating and helpful. We found it to be very well run and felt that both our father and we as his relatives had extremely good treatement. In short, we felt he had wonderful treatment and can't thank the staff enough |

my wife was in with alzheimer's but as she got worse and was classed as challenging behavior is when i noticed the bruising i took photos and logged the date and who was on duty to keep a record,i would not recommend this place the day centre or the respite centre if your loved one is at the challenging behavior stage |
