The Laurels Care Home

My mum was a resident for almost 8 years and the care deteriorated somewhat over the last 3 years - most residents just left in their rooms with not much interaction from anyone. Not enough staff on duty at any one time. Smell of faeces within the corridors. Meds not dispensed very well - on one occasion at 11.00am my mother had not received her medication and there was nobody on site to dispense it as someone had not turned up for work. Manager was not approachable and rarely replied to emails or phone calls. Thankfully my mother is now in another care home and the care is much much better.
