Jan 26 2016 Although we knew my Mum's time would be short and we hated the idea of a home we were persuaded by Derriford that it was the best thing for her. How right they were!! Mum spent the last two months of her life Happy, warm, pampered, and cared for by wonderful caring sensitive nurses & all the staff in the most beautiful surroundings she was allowed to make her room her own with all her familiar things around her but most of all I honestly can't find one fault. We were so devastated when she died, and the staff were genuinely upset too. If you are lucky enough to be offered a place at Can grab it and know your relative will be well cared for
