Oct 3 2019 A warm welcoming home. I have visited the home many times. It’s always clean and fresh smelling. The careers are a wonderful team, Nothing is too much trouble. They treat all the residents with the greatest dignity and care. There is an extensive menu and all tastes are considered and catered for. They have a dementia coach who has an extensive programme keeping the residents busy and entertained. An excellently run home.

She settled in very quickly and always described her friends there. She was a popular resident & liked to help others. Prior to living in George Brooker, Nan had lost a lot of weight which was very concerning, within a few months of being a resident she was gaining weight, enjoying food & looking healthier. She needed a whole new wardrobe! The staff at George Brooker have always been welcoming, approachable and caring. Sadly we lost our Nan on Christmas Day 2018, the family had been staying with Nan and the staff could not do no more. We were provided with lots of drinks, hugs & pillows and blankets to allow us to stay with her. I can never thank them enough for the care and compassion she received. We could see how loved Nan was by the carers. I would highly recommend this home.
