Richmond Heights Care Home

I cannot rate Richmond Heights highly enough. My mother was a resident for 2 years and during that time the staff were brilliant with her, despite some quite challenging behaviour caused by her dementia. My father would visit a couple of times a week and it really felt as though they were looking after him too. One special moment was a 64th Wedding Anniversary dinner for my parents, arranged by staff, complete with balloons, rose petals on the table and banners. it was a special moment for them to cherish as sadly mum passed away shortly afterwards. When the time came for Dad to enter nursing care Richmond was the obvious choice. His needs were very different. He was discharged to the home from hospital and really flourished. He was very frail but enjoyed reading his paper, watching sport on TV and chatting to staff about his war time memories. The care here is exceptional. Each resident is treated as an individual and visitors are welcome at any time. Living the opposite end of the country I really needed a place I could trust, and Richmond have never let us down.
