Jul 18 2014 I was most impressed with the warm welcome given to me by the staff at Mountbatten Nursing home. I was given a cup of tea and seated in a comfortably furnished office whilst I waited for an informal chat about employment possibilities. It seemed that the objective of all staff was contentment and happiness of each person in their care. The Mountbatten is comfortably furnished and has pleasing, contemporary décor. Catering standards are at a premium, the smell of delicious appetising home cooking fills the air in the late morning. There are extensive countryside views from the conservatory, pleasing gardens and an abundance of floral displays.
