I have to say all the staff from the lovely girls in the office to all the other staff are fabulous. Nothing is too much bother for them .
Everywhere is lovely and clean in the home ..,
The food I seen was lovely home made food , the staff serving the food were so friendly and helpful to my fathers neefs ..
I would thoroughly recommend Hawksyard. |

The staff here do not seemed to be trained to administer any specialist care, patients are arranged in a circle in front of a TV for hours with most receiving meals there as well in soiled clothes, there is no stimulation at all and its a very smelly depressing place to visit. Staff are very scarce I have seen ladies stuck on toilets shouting " nurse nurse " people screaming from bathrooms and being shouted at ( which we tried to record from the carpark ) an some put to bed at 2pm ! on the ground floor residents are sat in the corridor opposite the nurse desk so they can be watched! The bathing of patients is once a week so bed baths are all they get most days with incontinence patients ( because that's what some are ) being totally neglected. As I am not next of kin I had no say in my relative being here but I know it was the cheapest option and I can see why. |
