Anson Court Residential Home

My mother was a resident of Anson Court for nearly 3 years. She suffered from Alzheimer's and had previously lived at home with the family for 4 years. This became increasingly difficult. We found the management and staff at Anson Court to be lovely people, professional, and very caring. When ever we arrived for a visit, always unannounced, my mother was happy, cleanly dressed and her room was always spotless. We can't praise the staff enough for making her life as pleasant as possible given her disability. In the three years we saw very few staff changes which is a sign of a well run establishment. The food seemed to be good and plentiful. The walls are adorned with dozens of photos of the numerous activities the patients were involved in. Medical issues were dealt with expediently, with hospital / doctors appointments efficiently arranged. We would have no hesitation in recommending this care home to anyone who has the difficult decision as to where a loved one with acute dementia could be looked after.
