Star Care Lodge
By: Lucy Day Rating:.. Aug 18 2019 The care staff genuinely care about each resident. They share gifts at Christmas and birthdays. They organise social events such as music tribute nights and sports days, they encourage our family to come along to any events. We are able to visit or take my mum out at any time with no restrictions. She was previously in a mental health rehab facility for nearly 3years. She had become very institutionalised. Star care staff have encouraged her to become moe active, eat more healthily, lose weight and become more socially active. They encourage routines and structures. They prompt residents to become more independent with daily hygiene and preparing meals. I highly recommend this wonderful care home to others with mental health issues.
