Gavin Astor House Nursing Home is a well established care and nursing home for up to 50 residents with varying degrees of needs. The current nursing home general manager is responsible for the overall day to day working operation of the home for residents and staff alike.
The manager and her staff operate a very efficiernt ship, that cares for the everyday needs of residents, male and female. The staff are very friendly and go about their business in a professional and caring manner that make all residents feel wanted, safe and secure in a well kept clean and tidy enviroment.
Visiting is encouraged and access is available at all times of the day. Visitors can even take meals with ithe residents by prior arrangement and a small charge. Outside visits are arranged for the residents and there is always a varied programme of events within the home. I think Gavin Astor is the next best place to home when considering your every day needs when the time comes.
At the time of writing, my mother has been a resident for fifteen months. Her sister, my aunt, was also a resident for five years, and many of the staff then, are still here today. My mother is very happy here and as a family, we are truly grateful for the attention, care and friendship that she receives from each and everyone. |
