Worst GP ever you can stay on the line waiting for 1hr40mins and they will pick up being unbelievably rude and tell Yeah call some other day. If there’s any positive reviews about the GP just know that they are typing those reviews to make them selfs look better. |

I am absolutely fuming. The service is completely inadequate and careless. The Receptionists are awful and I am dreading to call every time if I have to. Definitely prefer using Patches to communicate with the surgery. However, some of the doctors are also quite careless and not very proactive. Yesterday I submitted a request via patches for my son (5 yo) who has a bad fungal infection on his toes. I provided a photo. I asked the doctor to give a letter to the school to allow him to wear sandals. In Patches, I was asked how I would prefer to be contacted and I said via a phone call. To my surprise, the doctor doesn't bother to call me, he sends me a text message to inform me that a cream was prescribed. So instead of providing a vital letter, he just brushes me off with a medicated cream. Perhaps he did not bother to read my entire Patches request? So I have to call the surgery (even thinking about it is enough to cause stress and anxiety!). To start with the receptionist asks me if I need a private letter and notifies me of the £30.00 cost! I explained the situation, and her advise was to drop a letter into the prescription box in the surgery and wait for a response from the doctor. This is going to take days!!! Why cannot this be done via an e-mail at this day and age??? This is a one-sentence letter to make a child's life easier so his toes do not rot in his school shoes... beyond understanding... I am very upset and disappointed. I will be looking to move to another surgery. |
