I've been a patient at Derwent since 2007. It was a fabulous practice. Now they have merged with Wentworth. It's been a couple of months and they have messed up my prescriptions, nit referred me to a clinic after I had a face to face appointment requesting a referral and now breached GDPR by giving my details to a random person. I'm so upset. |

Excellent service, both reception staff and GP are professional, friendly and compassionate.
I have been with the same GP practice for over 5 years and I feel I was always taken seriously when I came in for the appointment. Thank you so much. |

I have been a patient at the Derwent Crescent Medical Centre for many years and have had consistently high levels of service throughout. When urgent medical issues have arisen I have always been seen promptly and, where necessary, appropriate referrals to specialists have been made on an informed and knowledgable basis. I have also been impressed by the pro-active follow up, where the GP has had concerns, to ensure that matters are being properly followed through and investigated . I have usually been able to have blood tests at the surgery ( dealt with by the excellent nurses ), avoiding the hassle of hospitals, which is a great convenience and have appreciated the reminders for blood test check ups ( and flu jabs etc ) at appropriate intervals to ensure that preventative medication remains appropriate. In addition to the excellent GPs, I have always found the reception and nursing staff to be very helpful. Given the undoubted pressures that there are on the NHS, it is reassuring that a high standard of medical service is, in my experience, being maintained. |
