This review is about one particular incident. A review for the doctors I would give 5 stars but this review is for the reception. I received a text inviting me for a health check. Yesterday I phoned up to book and all I was told, oh that was sent in error and ur too young. I came off the phone and googled the age, just to see when I could have it. I am 49 and the age is 40-74. Slightly confused I phone back and the same receptionist answered. Honestly thinking she made a mistake I politely said I am not too young. She was quite abrupt with me and said we are not doing them. She just kept saying we are not doing them. I mentioned again but u said I was too young which isn’t true. After a while she said she was being polite, I said thank you (didn’t know what else to say) but how does that help me as you didn’t give me the right information. I kept asking how do I book one then, she said go private. I wasn’t getting anywhere and didn’t like the way she was so we ended the call. Now I don’t know how to book a health check and I can’t call back as it’s a small practice so she will probably answer and she won’t help me and doesn’t tell the truth. I have filled out a complaints form for someone to contact me which I am still waiting. It wasn’t a nice experience and left me feeling upset and left not knowing how to book a health check. |

Several times we were misdiagnosed. Luckily we were in a position to get the appropriate treatment through a private GP and the local hospital. In a number of occasions the diagnosis was vastly different. If this is not enough, the staff is very rude and arrogant. Their lack of phone system means you can never get through, you have to call dozens of times before getting through and when you already get through, all appoint are given. |
