The receptionist, she’s very very rude and I still waiting after four days to get a call back. My conditions they are not well I got fever, lungs, infection and asthma and after four days. I still wait for a callback to get an appointment because the receptionist she didn’t pass the message forward at the end. I don’t know what I have to do. |

The surgery has become more efficient in the last few years, in particular the help received by polite receptionists and admin, who pass requests and emails back to the relevant doctors in quick time and help you to receive feedback. The waiting time for your call to be taken is minimal and the response is swift. Today Rashida, in Admin, not only took the messages to the doctors, but called back several times until she managed to obtain the right hospital for referral for the patient. We appreciate this helpfulness and courtesy that goes right through the practice, with excellent nurses like Karla, and doctors like Dr. N.Shah, who take the trouble to monitor your health and give you the correct advice and help with referrals. There are occasional blips but these are quickly ironed out to get the referral procedures to obtain hospital appointments, test results and medical assistance on track. Please keep this up! |

The recent booking of appointments by phone, reminders and request for test results has been very good and efficient, with the receptionists and administration being on the ball with confirmation and appointment alerts, and sending letters and requests to the doctors concerned. Receptionists are very helpful and courteous, (for example Rashida) in arranging appointments for blood tests and health checks with doctors and the nurses concerned. Doctors' responses to obtaining referrals and reassuring messages to test results are also very reassuring. All in all Bacon Lane Surgery is proving an important contribution to the functioning of the NHS under very difficult circumstances today, and deserve much appreciation for this. Many thanks! |
