I cannot rate this surgery high enough. The reception area are also so lovely. The Nurses and my own GP too.Well done for restoring my faith in the NHS. Reply from Stanhope Mews Surgery Tue, 16 Jul 2019 12:46:08 +0100 Thank you so much for writing such a lovely review. I will pass on your comments to the whole practice team. It makes such a difference to us to know we are dong such a good job! Often we only hear when things go wrong, and while we welcome criticism in order that we can improve, it is really wonderful to hear about such a good experience. Very best wishes Karen Rydings Practice Manager krydings@nhs.net |

I write as a patient of nearly 11 years at Stanhope Mews West Doctors Surgery, and had to leave recently due to relocating from London to the countryside. What prompts me to leave this review following recent experience at new surgeries is my realisation that other doctors surgeries fall far, far below the standard of care I came to enjoy through my many years at Stanhope Mews. I very much miss being a patient at Stanhope Mews West.
As far as I am concerned, and based on my years of experience as a patient, this is the gold standard of doctor surgeries, and other surgeries should literally take notes and learn from the way in which it is run, the manner in which administration is health with, the fashion in which patients are handled (even in sensitive and at times delicate situations due to health problems), and the way in which medical care is dispensed.
The doctor who cared for me as my GP for many years is an absolute shining star who I can never thank enough (really she should be cloned so she is more widely available to patients), and without exception every other doctor I saw at this surgery over many years was also very empathetic, professional and kind. The administration staff, particularly the senior administrator and practice manager, are wonderful, kind people who work hard to help patients immediately and are so respectful in doing this.
I wish everyone at this surgery the very best, and I send my thanks for all the years of caring for me as your patient. This surgery is a treasure. |

I have been with the proctice for many years, and although i moved out of the bourough i have continued to be a patient, becasue it is an excellent proctice. I have just had my first Covid vaccination , organised by this practice, simply with my GP contacting me, on day one for the vaccination 3 days later. The organisation at the vaccination centre was superb, Congratulations NHS, u are a wonderful institution. |
