My husband has had numerous medical needs over the last five years. His care by every single doctor at Millbank has been exemplary. Care and treatment plans are always fully explained and discussed. Attention, kindness and consideration has been given to him at all times. When he has been unable to attend the surgery in person, a doctor has kindly held telephone consultations with him and then followed up with another telephone call a few days later to check whether he is feeling better. I am told by many friends that this is unheard of in their GP Practice. All of the practice staff are attentive and obliging in what must be a very demanding environment dealing with sick people..and they smile & make you feel like a person, not a nuisance, ( which again, my friends tell me is unusual at their GP's). Life can be challenging when you are sick, but thankfully, everyone at Millbank helps greatly. The whole team works very hard to support our patients and we are glad that we have been able to respond to your families needs. Please do let us know if there are elements that could improve - we always welcome feedback! |

The decline has been apparrent in the last five years. This was the one place I knew I could always count on to be given a quality of care that has sadly vanished. It is almost impossible to see my Dr, who was once a great source of support and empathy, but both, for me at least, seem to have blown away with disinterest and beuaraeucratic box-tickiing. Reply from Millbank Medical Centre Wed, 10 Jul 2019 22:54:45 +0100 Thank you for taking the time to comment. We are saddened to read your feedback, and invite you to meet with the Practice Manager or a senior GP to discuss more fully. Our team is growing as the experienced GPs not only are dedicated to their patients, but also to nurturing and encouraging other doctors to become GPs, ensuring a high standard of treatment for our patients both now and in the future. The local GPs all work together and we are proud that one of the GPs in the surgery is the director for our local network (SWPCH). She is dedicated to ensuring a high calibre of care for all of the patients in the area. We would welcome further discussion with you so that your own health and wellbeing is maximised. |
