I wrote a review yesterday but I entered the wrong date .The date I visited the surgery is the 5/12/22 and not the 5/11/22.I need someone to speak to that receptionist regarding the way she approach the patient request and being unresponsive. She should more considerate.Majority of the receptionist are very helpful. . |

I arrived on 5/11/22 at 12.10 pm for scheduled appointment with the Nurse .I was unable to book my appointment on the computer .I spoke to the receptionist who said the nurse is off sick .I told her that no one has informed me by text that my appt was cancelled.I asked if another nurse can change my dressing as my wound was infected and she said NO ,she was abrupt and not very helpful .I asked for another appointment and she said that no appointment was available .I had to persuade her to try Brambles in High wood and she managed to book me in for Wednesday .Her response is extremely unsatisfactory and frustrating. I have been with this surgery for the last 35 years and never came across such a poor response from this receptionist . |

I had been with Beechwood Surgery for quite a while and had been very happy with the services in all aspects. However today 28/07/22 around 1825, I rang the surgery to reschedule a telephone consult as I was abroad when the Dr. rang on the 22/06/22 (I have informed the surgery of my absence in the country). The receptionist at this particular date and time was very argumentative and would not let me explain. Eventually I have just asked for a telephone consult with the GP as I cannot put a proper sentence in as the receptionist keeps talking over me. I have requested for losartan and Progynova which are my regular medication through the online form in May 2022 reference no. 55580. I’ve also requested if it is possible for my progynova 2 mg oral to be changed into 2 mg gel form due to me developing melasma/hyperpigmentation on my face. The GP sent a prescription of my losartan which I took but not my HRT? The GP wanted to do a telephone consult prior to acknowledging my request. What is not an acceptable practice was my oral hrt was not prescribed hence I have not taken them whilst I was abroad for a couple of months now. The GP should still have prescribed my hrt whilst awaiting for my telephone consult but not to leave me without it.now I am experiencing menopausal symptoms. |
