My prescriptions have been done wrong several times, you need to be on the ball yourself, you need to double check ALL your medication yourself, if your family are too old or too ill to look after their own medication, change their Doctors to another surgery, the Doctor and the receptionist's get the medication wrong. My meds be sat in the system, and not at the pharmacy when I go to collect them from the pharmacy. I have to go after work, defeats the object of the online ordering and the electronic ordering system.
Recently I was on the phone for nearly an hour the staff didn't realise they had answered my call until they dialled someone else.
Go to a different practice, there are not enough doctors here, too many patients.
The NURSE is RUDE and not nice the old nurse has left. |

a very good practice. only downfall is ... emergency appts are rarely available. a soon as I phone surgery for emergency appt.,receptionist never ask for name or reason of call. just says no appt available, go to hub. and at hub out of hour gp hasn't got our medical history. it becomes hard to convey the message across. I been trying to call surgery since its opening hours and it was constantly busy. when I got thru . was given same adv to go to hub. the receptionist didn't had courtesy to ask whats the emergency. I myself told her its related to his medical history. even after that she didn't ask my son's name or dob.
my son might have need home visit or hospital attendance.
I work for nhs. do not want to end up in a and e for unnecessary reason. myself and my kids love dr Prasad , that's the only reason I m not changing gp.
management pls acknowledge this and do something about emergency appt. or at least tell your staff to take a note and let doctor decide what to do. a telephone consultation can also be offered.
and yes I m taking my son to a and e unnecessary. he got high bp since yesterday which this morning turning into pins and needles at periphery. |

I have been a patient of this surgery since I was a child, despite having moved away from the local area I would not dream of changing my doctor. The doctor and her staff have always been professional and caring, I have never been kept waiting too long for an appointment and I have always been treated with respect. I’m not a frequent visitor but I have always felt that the doctor knows me. I have never felt my consultations are rushed and have never felt there was any time constraints on my appointment. As a local Taxi driver( the doctor does my TFL medical) I drop off and pick up quite a few patients and I have never heard a bad word about anyone at the surgery, not always the case with other surgeries. |
