Receptionist is downright frightening. I do not get the impression gp really listens to symptoms description before chancing a diagnosis. Hopefully leaving soon. |

I was 9min late to my appointment. The GP was running late herself by at-least 30min and was with a patient and there were patients waiting ahead of me.
The GP cancelled my appointment because I was 9min late even though she was running behind herself. My being late 9min did not effect the surgery or other peoples appointments because the surgery was running behind themselves
I told her that im 5 MONTHS PREGNANT but this did not change her mind. I also have a good track record when attending appointments.
As a result i ended up having to go to A&E to see a Doctor.
GPs can run over time by hours but patients cant be more than 5min late?
I though GPs had a duty of care to their patients especially those who are venerable (which I include myself in at the moment being pregnant). Shameful - will be leaving this surgery ASAP |

I've been to a few Dr's in the North London area in my lifetime and I can honestly say this is the best surgery I've ever been registered with. My Dr is really friendly, caring and attentive and has even gone out of his way to phone me out of of the blue and check up on my health conditions - I was quite gobsmacked as it's something I've never experienced before! I'm used to GP's not knowing my name let alone remembering conversations we've had in the past. As NHS receptionists go the front desk staff are great at their jobs, its a busy surgery so there can be a bit of a cue in person or a wait on the phone to speak to them but they are always patient, curtious and efficient. |
