I am writing this review because unfortunately I now have to switch to a new practice due to moving out of the area, and wanted to register my overwhelmingly positive experience with the Centre over the last 15 years. I have always been able to get an appointment in a timely fashion, whether it was on the same day or in a week or two in non-urgent situations. I do not have any ongoing health issues, but the handful of times I've attended for a worry or an actual problem, as well as blood tests or a smear, I have always had attentive, warm, detail-focused and extremely helpful interactions with the GPs and nurses. Most recently I had a minor episode of breast cancer and was referred promptly to the hospital for scans, and afterwards seen twice for follow ups, first by the head of the practice who became my GP before she passed me on to another GP - the one who referred me to the Homerton - on her retirement. I just really cannot recommend this surgery enough, it is fantastic, and am very sad to have to transfer to a new one. | ||||||

Always get an appointment on the same day. Sometimes I’m happy to talk to the doctors on the phone. Always listen and always v helpful. The reception team have to deal with all kinds of people from different backgrounds and with many complex issues including mental health. They handle everything very well. I and my young some have always received great care and appropriate treatment. Now I a suffer with trypanophobia and unreliable blood supply! But today was a different story, didn’t even fell a pinch. My health care support worker was upmost professional and is clearly talented at taking blood, after many years of living in fear. I won’t in future!
