a minute agoNEW This is the worst GP you can find in your entire life You can never see a doctor To get an appointment you have to wait months and months They totally don't care about patients I am suffering from a headache and dizziness for more than 2 months i tried to book an appointment on December they booked me for 25th of February just for a phone consultation on the 25th of February i receive a text saying the doctor who should call you is off sick and your appointment will be rescheduled for the 25th of March I went to the surgery and told them i am very ill and i need to be seen or get referral to neurologist They booked me for urgent appointment as usual over the phone and the doctor said i can do nothing for you i can't get you any referral you have to book routine appointment to get referral Worst GP surgery you can imagine | ||||||

I'm with them for over 5 years already and since then service is absolutely terrible . I called them on Friday asked for repeat prescription I've been told to do request online , I'm a week with my medicine which i s ridiculous as my body is not a toy I just start treatment 4 weeks ago and now I'm a week of then so how they suppose to help me !? Receptionist told me to put urgent enquirie and I've been told by her that it will take 48h it takes already a week !! I'm chasing this practice and this what I am suggesting to anyone to do nor choose Southgate surgery as the service is awful since 2016 I'm with them , Receptionist are rude and never informed well about anything | ||||||

During Covid I have been misdiagnosed twice on he telephone - I was diagnosed with vertigo - when I actually have hypertension and a slow heartbeat and at risk of stroke or heart attack. I applied on line as usual for regular prescriptions which are supposed to take 48 hours - it took 10 days for chemist to receive them and I ran out of long term necessary medication! I had to take action and pay for proper diagnosis. The physician emailed me and my surgery with a request for urgent heart medication.They said they had not received it so I personally took them a copy. Two days later they had not even read it and when I queried this they brought it up on the computer and told me it was not very clear as the request was in the last paragraph and small writing! Unlikely to recommend this Surgery to anyone. ! | ||||||
