Having been with this surgery for years, I’m finally moving GP’s due to the rudeness of the staff here. I’m stressed and scared when I need to make an appointment due to the abrasive way the staff treat enquiries. I constantly feel they want rid of patients and that they’re doing you a huge favour by seeing you. Trying to get through the receptionists is bad enough but the doctors here (apart from 1 I’m not allowed to mention, sadly) have terrible bedside manners, obviously huff and puff when trying to explain something. I’ve had one making sarcastic comments! Very uncaring gp, abrupt and shouty.. when you’re sick, you just don’t need to feel like you’re fighting through a battle to get treatment. I’ve been here 15 years and I’m not exaggerating, it has deteriorated over the years and I found it unbearably stressful dealing with such unfriendly people. |

I rarely, if ever write any reviews, but I cannot thank the staff and doctors here at the surgery for their professionalism and efficiency enough. I think they are very good and I always feel well cared for. G |

I called up to register and was informed by the receptionist that Queens Ave do not take American students as they aren't covered by the NHS. We are covered.
We are covered if we're studying on courses for 6months+ and are even required to pay the immigrant health surcharge upfront (300 GBP) to receive our visas. When I tried to explain this, the receptionist hung up on me. Charming. |
