I have recently visited the surgery with my partner in order to register as new patients. We have recently moved a property in the vicinity and did not have many documents as proof of ID. However we both had Driving Licences with our address on it. The lady in reception refused to accept these as proof of address. We have provided all letters addressed to us in our new address but the lady in reception said they were unacceptable as they were not bills.I have checked their website before preparing our documents and on the website it says that two letters were required as proof of address. The lady in reception was very arrogant and she did not even look at the other documents as they were not bills. I appreciate that the surgery may require specific documents but they should be assessed on their own merits. She could at least spend a few minutes looking at the documents we had with us and be more understanding as we have moved recently. Maybe she was impatient as there were many patients waiting in reception and it was around 18:00. I found her behavior rude and inconsiderate. After leaving there we went to another nearby surgery and registered with our tenancy agreement alone. I believe that the people working in reception is the first contact for new patients and they can try to be more considerate/understanding to new patients. |

One particular doctor is the only doctor that have seen straight away about my daughter and my son what they need in order to have better health and which was the best solution. Very pleased indeed. I felt in very safe hands as a mother over my children's health having this GP. The best medical professional as GP. |

Saw Dr last week who couldn't print sick due to the printer not working. Therefore I was asked to call back and pick up the sick note on a different day. After calling three times went to pick up the note which was printed as a duplicate copy when asked for originally to be provided staff said I have to wait for another 48 hrs and need to make another request.. Also when raised my concern to a member of staff who was communicating from the other end of the room spoke to me in a complete lack of professionalism. And was extremely rude When requested to speak to a manager no one available to speak too. Also was given won't information when call to check if a prescription can be done for my son as he was discharged from hospital in early hours of the morning. After being told that prescription can be done if come to surgery when arrived was told to wait for 48 hrs, therefore, had to go back t hospital to pick antibiotics. At no point, the staff apologized or inconvenience caused. |
