I can only very strongly disagree with the review left on 31 March 2019 re: the nurse. Very recently we were forced to make an appointment at very short notice to see the nurse. My husband has had a tracheostomy since February of this year whilst undergoing treatment for cancer. The dressing needs to be changed regularly and on this particular occasion the District Nurse had failed to arrive. We called the surgery and were given an appointment for that evening with the nurse. Quite often this change of dressing is undertaken by 2 nurses at the hospital as it is quite a difficult procedure. Despite never having done this before, the nurse treated my husband with great kindness and care. She was extremely patient and polite and did an absolutely first class job. She also very kindly offered to change the dressing if the District Nurse failed to arrive again. Quite honestly, after the way she cared for my husband, we would rather see the surgery nurse. She is a complete asset to the Practice. |

We moved to this surgery a couple of years ago and have found the level of care and support very good. We have seen a couple of the doctors when we have needed and the level of care was way better than some doctors in our previous surgery. We have also had quite a few visits with the warm and smiling Nurse who is brilliant with caring for our kids and us adults too - often going above and beyond with check ups and advice - we have always received very high level of care and are glad to be in safe hands. |

Rutland House is the best GP surgery I have ever been to and I'm so glad we moved here three years ago. The doctors all know who we are and think carefully about what is wrong. The receptionists are helpful and not at all grumpy as they were in my last practice. My favourite person there is the practice nurse who has a heart of gold and clearly cares tremendously about all the patients she looks after. Really the best of the NHS. |
