I just had a nightmare of hell morning with one of the receptionist who was nothing but arrogant incredibly rude and narcissistic! She could say or do whatever she pleased including cutting me off the conversation interrupting me throughout not allowing me to get a world out my mouth but she will tell me to let her finish when she wouldn't confronting me endlessly even though I tried to defused the situation she continued on trying to have the upper on me, when letting her know what she was doing she denied her unacceptable way beyond unprofessional immature behaviour towards a patient in discomfort delusional with serious personal issues member of the staff. Nobody should have to endure what I did this morning this is the 3rd time she has been obnoxious does she think she has the liberty to speak to patients like school children I certainly would not tolerate been spoken this way she should be dismissed! I am in the process to get a complaint form to the Surgery Manager and will bring this appalling way to treat patients to her. Good grief all this stressful aggravation just to get an appointment! After that I had the pleasure to speak to a different thank God, lovely receptionist who listened to me didn't cut me short or was in any way rude, in fact nothing but pleasant. | ||||||

I rang in order to get registered and the 'so called' allegedly assistant manageress was so rude, abrupt and brush speaking to me with such unpleasant condescending tone almost like giving me an order rather than kindly assist me, and this wasn't bad enough she kept talking over me putting the phone down on me on top. Then I called again and they will not pick up when after my phone rang several times until they eventually did. The second receptionist tells me that I am giving her the wrong information regarding the requested 2 documents to get registered which such incorrect info was given to me by the the first rude one, when I told her so, she tells me she didn't know as she wasn't there then when I mentioned Lisa Herrigde she tells me she heard her colleague giving her name to me! It tells you how untruthful and unprofessional they are covering each others back's instead of accommodating a future patient needs! Would you opt to get registered with a surgery that has such poor rude standards? specially when their line of work is with health! would they even be in business if it wasn't for us patients! If I don't receive an genuine apology over this inexcusable conduct this assistant manager I will escalate it to the medical board her behaviour is simply unacceptable going tick for tack back and forward to excuse her rudeness behaviour towards me accusing me of being abrupt to get out it. If you are spoken rudely you will most likely respond to that tone back why wouldn't you? She thinks she can be rude to a future patient when registering! I'm am suppose to tolerate it? Would you when the other party initiate it? | ||||||

I have been a patient at Seaside Medical centre for over 30 years. During that time I have been supported for a variety of reasons, some happy - the birth of my children, to some sad reasons, the death is a parent. I have always been supported and advised in a compassionate, caring way. This is not necessarily by issuing medication, but a supportive ear, or some sensible advice. I find this to be a really progressive way for healthcare. A GP shouldn’t just issue tablets and may not always tell you what you want to hear but you should be confident that what you are told is factually correct, even if you don’t like it. This is one of Seaside Medical Centres greatest strengths. No doubt this doesn’t suit some people and can lead to negative comments but I believe that a Dr should be factual, correct and trusted. Which it is . | ||||||
