I suffer from a rare vascular disorder. Staff are well trained to explain why I cannot see a doctor to discuss this problem and resolve my concerns. The triage staff have heard of the condition I suffer with but ask questions and they are ignorant to the consequences of this. My grandmother 2 x uncles and my mother have all passed with this condition being very relevant to their deaths. So why can’t I discuss this with a proper doctor? My mental health is suffering. I await laser treatment but I still need to discuss this. Staff are not at all interested in trying to resolve this by giving me an appointment. |

I suffer with a rare vascular problem and am waiting for laser treatment. However I have concerns about my condition and wish to address these with the doctor. I have to go through triage first but what is the point when the medical staff don’t have the knowledge to advise me. Needed home assistance but was told I was not on the list for that service. Ended up in A and E waiting 9 hours to be seen then kept in. Nobody seems to care about my mental health in relation to this and I feel isolated from medical support??? Staff are well trained to put you off ringing!!! |
