I have been going here for years. In the last year or two the number of doctors has dwindled and there is a noticeable lack of communication, interest and even frirndliness from the Dr when you go. It feels very much like you are imposing, taking up their tome. I understand that this is indeed likely exactly what is going on, however they need to have a workable service. If this is not the case and patients are made to feel they are being hurried out the door or are imposing then the service is failing.
It is so hard to get an appointment soon. You have to wait a week usually or nearer two sometimes. They even stopped the service of phoning them early to get a slot thst day if one came up!
I hate seeing it happen but the place seems to be on its knees. Hopefully it can improve.
If not, it won't be able to sustain this shoddy service. | ||||||

We have always found all the doctors and nursing staff particularly courteous, efficient, polite and helpful and are very grateful for this service. We would especially like to thank the receptionist, who, being at the front line, remains unfailingly polite, patient and efficient - and who always does her very best to help in any situation. She is a very valuable asset! | ||||||

I have moved frequently and therefore been registered at several surgeries in my life. Alfriston surgery is the best. All the staff are excellent and in particular Cathy the receptionist is always very efficient, friendly and calm .
