    I hardly ever go to the GP but this week I have tried every day to get an appointment just to be told the usual, no appointments left, ring back tomorrow at 8:00am I have rang today at 8:00 and decided to wait for however long it takes this time, I was number 3 in the queue and I have been waiting at this moment 1:07 hrs, I am going to hold until my phone goes dead. This is unacceptable.Someone is there waiting for the calls to drop instead of answering!!! Someone who should not be doing this job. Is this what happens every day? Possibly What a shame!

    Firstly, we would like to apologise for the experiences you have encountered. We have had a new phone system installed in July 2019 and to date we have had lots of very good feedback. Upon receiving your comment we have run a full test of all our lines both at Heronsgate Medical Centre and Gallions Reach Health Centre. I can assure our receptionists are dedicated in their roles to ensuring you receive the best possible service. We do provide 24 hour online access, where you can book, cancel, amend your appointment online as well as book an on the day appointment at 8am by logging onto your online access portal. You can also request repeat medications and view your medical records. Should you wish to use this service next time you attend to the practice please bring one photo ID with you and the receptionist can set you up. Thank you for taking the time to comment on our services, we can only improve by receiving comments like yours.
