I left this practice this morning, and would advise anyone against signing up to it.
The wait times for even getting through to a receptionist are absolutely surreal - 20 minutes sometimes (I've often given up). Then there is what feels like a Catch-22 where you have to get an appointment to get an appointment for the most routine matters (travel immunisations, contraception); the receptionists cannot answer even the most basic questions and cannot pass on any messages. I've even been passed on to the supervisor once, as if I was a problem case. There is not an ounce of goodwill of helpfulness and I often felt that no one cared for my health at all.
It is a shame as whenever I've managed to see the doctors, they are kind and helpful, but the battle with reception and the booking process makes this really not worth it. |

The reception staff are vile and lie about available apps for routine matters . The attitude is a disgusting- when I have seen a gp they are aware of the terrible reception staff. Being on hold for an hour to get through to receptionists is normal . The manager is never available and now we are told it will take two weeks to get a call back. I have made upheld complaints re reception in the past but nothing changes . Reception often won’t give their names . Give wrong information and put the phone down you if you politely ask them things they do not want to answer. Read reviews all over various sites on the internet that say the same . Time for the Nexus group to take action |
