Decima Street Surgery (Part of the Nexus Health Group)

This surgery should be shut down in my sincere opinion. Not for the doctors, but yes for the telephone service. I just have been 1 full hour waiting for the surgery to answer my call, the second half hour I was first in the queue. I hung up. This is NOT the first, or second time this has happened to me. This isn’t the first time I’ve been disappointed by the practice whom I’ve been with for just under a year now but I’ve got so fed up of it I’m having to write a negative review. PLEASE READ BEFORE CONSIDERING THIS PRACTICE. Not only do I ring at 8am sharp everyday for 2 weeks and no appointments available , I even ring back at 1pm afternoon slots and then 24th in the queue to be told no appointments left (this takes around 40 minutes to be answered - I don’t have 40 minutes of a working day to be sat by my phone waiting). I then take their advice to submit an E-consult online for that to be ignored after the promised 48 hours and then have to ring to chase that. When doing an e-consult I have never spoken to the right doctor to resolve my issue (not even a doctor at the specified practice they give you any doctor/nurse available from wherever) which is very unprofessional even specifically naming my doctor in the description whom I’ve been given instructions by- they still didn’t book me an appointment with him or take into consideration my needs and requests. This has happened before where it’s taken 2 weeks for a call back and it’s the wrong person to help me and then I have to repeat the process all over again till I then hopefully get who I need. The phone staff are not very helpful and don’t offer much advice apart from ‘sorry we have no appointments left which 9/10 times is always the case every time and I don’t feel they are very welcoming or warm when entering the practice, they always seem to be in a rush. This particular practice is very small and the reception area is always packed sometimes queuing out the door. Overall, not happy with this practice and I’ve never been to such a bad place to speak about my issues and health concerns where I don’t feel appreciated or cared for

Service is terrible. Impossible go get through, always have to wait at least 45 minutes, all the time being charged for theses calls. Staff are not helpful, always tell you to ring back at a different time, and it is then the same answer. When we ring we do not wish to go into details with a receptionist, do they think they are doctors?
