Over the last 3 years have had to visit the surgery alot more often.I have nothing but praise having seen a few different doctors in a short space of time .
When a refferal has been needed I have received very prompt appointments.
All the staff at reception have also been very helpful. Reply from Fairfield Medical Centre Tue, 17 Sep 2019 11:32:39 +0100 Thank you very much for taking the time to share your 3 years experiences of our GP practice. We know we don’t always get things right but our whole team tries hard to help people as they wish and need. It’s great to hear back from somebody when they think we have got something right. I have shared your comments with everybody who works here and it has really helped to boost morale amongst both the reception team and our clinicians! Thank-you again – it really is appreciated. Been with them since I moved to Fetcham almost two years ago.
I have yet to have a good experience with this GP surgery. I was assigned to a particular Doctor, to this day, I have NEVER gotten an appointment with him. I have spoken to him on the phone, he was rude and couldn't get off the phone quick enough (our call was literally 22 seconds long), I needed help as I was dealing with mental health problems, this Doctor specialises in mental health but still has yet to see me, let alone help me. The last time I had an appointment I needed a check up for my pill and PCOS condition, I was sent to the nurse who read my weight on the scales incorrectly and thus made me panic by telling me I had put on too much weight and my BMI has increased to a worrying level. When I told my father about this he informed he had also seen that same nurse that same morning and she gave him the wrong reading of his blood pressure which she said is dangerous for his diabetes. I really do not recommend this surgery, I will be changing to a different one. |

I have been placed on medication due to bloods not once has my gp exsplained that it’s medication now for life until today on a phone call.I never get to see who I’m registered with and never seem to get any answers as to why things for me are changing so much .only loose weight more exercise diet ,sometimes people don’t over eat or don’t eat unhealthy but still somehow get things wrong with them.if I could afford to go private I would .I’ve been under this surgery for yrs and o rarely need to go ,sometimes one has too .I’m not happy with the overal care to patients not just my own health but others stories I hear from residents in the village .it’s sad but our nhs doctors treat us like a factory of patients …in out as quick as they can without rearly taking time to look at records and discussing why the patient may be getting sick .not enough compassion care for elderly or younger generations .I’ve been private a few times and got much better service .but money talks and not everyone has it or is willing to part with it for good health care .such a sad storey nhs I’ve no trust in it |
