I have been waiting for a small ten minute test with the nurse. I have asked at the beginning of September and I was given an appointment on the 28th at 2.15p.m. When the day came I had a call at about 1.55 p.m that my appointment was cancelled. It seemed like the nurse didn't turn up. They would have known that from the morning itself. I was already on my way and I had to turn back. If the appointments are cancelled patients should be notified in good time. I was given another appointment on 26th of October. It wasn't my fault that the nurse wasn't in, they should have made provision for me to have a quicker one. For a mere ten minute appointment with the nurse I would be waiting for two months, ridiculous. That's the state of this practice. And also when an appointment is given to a patient it should be made clear whether it's a telephone or a physical one. It wasn't mentioned to me and I went in and waited a long time the other day not realising it was a telephone one. |

I can't believe we have come out of a pandemic and the Way Family Practice website is still functionality useless. Actually I'd go as far as to say it makes their service worse than if they didn't have a website at all. I am a tech savvy person who tries to use the website and apps, but I have never in all my attempts succeeded to get anything done using the app other than booking an appointment. Repeat prescriptions just don't work because the information is not there in the app. I'm sick of asking reception to add the medication into the app so I can do a repeat prescription. I've asked then 3 times, but only once did they do it, then when I went to order it, it's vanished again. The most frustrating thing is there is no other way to contact the practice than phoning or visiting. You can send reception a message, but you can't do it for medical reasons, and from my experience they don't respond. Why does their website not let you have an alternative to the app when we they know it usually won't work? Do they know? Do they have their head in the sand? Clearly this practice is going through the motions with no effective leadership. I've had enough, I'm going to switch to one of the other 2 in the same building. |

The doctors are good but there are two ladies at the reception who will make your life miserable. 1. They will tell you, you are wrong unless you tell them to check your doctors notes. 2. They will not apologise but find ways of twisting everything. 3. Especially if they don’t like your accent or they simply don’t like you is their reason. 4. If you try to tell them they are wrong they will hung up the phone on you. 5. They will hung up the phone even to a pharmacist speaking on your behalf. 6. This is unacceptable |
