Blood was due to be taken from my daughter but unfortunately the person could not find a vein in either arm. She then fainted and was sick. Unfortunately there were no sick bowls in the room. | ||||||

I have been trying to get in touch with a doctor to discuss a letter from my husbands consultant. It has proved very difficult. Today I tried to discuss this with someone on the phone, only to be told my only way forward was to ring every morning until I got an appointment. I visited the surgery one morning this week to sort out a prescription and received fantastic service that was both supportive and empathetic. The Head Receptionist was amazing - she went out of her way and took time to understand what I needed. She clearly explained the process and in order to upskill the team members she was also providing “in the moment” training/coaching to another Receptionist which I felt was brilliant. By the afternoon she had followed through with everything she had promised to do and contacted me to advise the prescription was ready for me. A great example of good service and making patients feel valued. | ||||||
