Ie been and continue to be be as helpful as possible despite the increased pressures that the growing town bring. i think that the triage system that is operation allows the practice to put its resources where best needed. I find the surgery easy to get to and has ample parking for the genuine patents unfortunately some of the bays get taken by drivers within conscience. The team are consistent allowing for that personal touch so often missing in todays world. i have nothing but praise for the surgery of my life choice . I have been a patient for nearly 63 years i have seen the practise evolve with the town over this time period. i have never been let down in anyway but helped through some very tough times. Reply from Bridge Medical Centre Wed, 07 Aug 2019 08:50:25 +0100 Hello, I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to give such super feedback. We do our best to be helpful and each one of us plays an important role in the patient's pathway through the surgery. I'm glad to hear that you understand why we need to use the triage service - it's a way of us being able to manage demand whilst signposting patients to the most appropriate clinician - someone who isn't always in our Practice for example the local pharmacist. I am glad that you feel we have supported you so well throughout your life and we look forward to continuing to do so. Thanks again for your positive feedback - it is very much appreciated by all. Kind regards, Jackie Morris Practice Business Manager |

Yesterday it took me 203 calls before getting through to reception only to be told all call backs for AM had been taken. The frustrating thing is to get through at 8.30 ..8.31 ...8.32 ...8.33 and receive the out of hours message !! I later called agaon to request a bllod test form and was advised it would be ready later thay day or following morning. I waited until next day, drove there late morning only to be told "form not ready it can take 48 hours " why not tell me that when I called that way I wouldn't have wasted my time going there... Another issue is with the call backs , they quite often don't happen . You sit by your phone all day and no call .. when you call reception they say "doctor tried to call you but you didn't answer " NO WAY !! Bridge medical centre use to be an excellent practice who I've been with over 60 years . The service is nothing like it should be which is a great shame. |

You are unable to just book a routine appointment. You have to call at 830 am. Usually 80 plus redial to get through in 20 minutes. Then told you will be called back by a doctor. If he feels you need to visit then an appointment is made. Overflow are sent to Southgate. No thought as to why you should have to travel that far if I'll or without transport. Nurses at surgery very good and helpful. |
