I can't comment on the appointment system as I have never used it, but the service I receive from the pharmacy is first rate. It is worth travelling that bit further to get the right meds at the right time and to be greeted with friendly and efficient reception/pharmacy staff when I drop off or collect my scrip. Such a contrast with another pharmacy at the surgery in BoA who say they cannot get my preferred brand of ongoing meds, perhaps due to them being a national commercial chain rather than independent. Also, when I collect my prescription, usually afternoon, the reception/pharmacy is a haven of calm and I've never needed to wait more than a minute or two if there is someone ahead of me in the queue. I can't express strongly enough how important this is, and how much I appreciate the Winsley staff. | ||||||

I attended Winsley reception following a fall two weeks prior. I was greeted by a bright, friendly receptionist who listened to my concerns and then hunted for and found an appointment for me that afternoon. Returning for the appointment I was seen within minutes of the scheduled time by the doctor who undertook an appropriate examination, fully explained his findings and recommendations. I left feeling that I had had excellent care, thank you. | ||||||

This surgery was excellent in every way until the new appointment system came into place. It is now difficult to get an answer to a phone call, let alone-get an appointment . It is not the fault of the receptionist and to be honest I do not know who’s fault it is. I realise that there have been staff difficulties, but it should have been sorted by now. Such a shame to have a brilliant service come to the present state. Hope it returns to normal soon.
