Without a shadow of a doubt this has to be the worst GP I have ever been to and I've only been registered for less then 2 months. The doctor who I see is one of the worst GPs I've ever came across. As well not giving you any confidence that they knows what they're talking about they will also completely ignore any concerns you have. I have had a chronic cough for over 3 years and have also experienced severe chest pains alongside haemoptysis (coughing up blood). Within the last 3 weeks I have lost a significant amount of weight for no apparent reason which to 99% of people would be a big concern. When explaining all of this to them I was told that they would refer me to the R.U.H but I had to make the appointment myself, at which point I was told I was on a 14 week waiting list because they had not made it an urgent referral and just a 'check up'. When finding this out I called up Rush Hill Surgery to query this I was told they were on annual leave but they would get another doctor to give me a call that evening... This never happened. A few days later I called up again complaining about this but the response I got was argumentative and unhelpful but they assured me that the doctor would call me the day after. Surprisingly I did get a call back to explain these concerns to them, however because they was unsure how to work the computer I was told some be at the reception would give me a call back to arrange the appointment with for the following day. To this point I have still not heard anything from the doctors and cannot get through because the surgery is closed. Now somebody please correct me if I'm wrong but the closing times for the surgery on the NHS website say that the closing time today is 19.30 (it's currently 18.30) and I have lost all patience! For your own sanity please do not use this surgery and find one that will actually do their job properly! |
