When I compare the Health Centre with all my friends, your surgery is always the one that everyone else wishes they belonged to as you have your appointment drop in service as well as non-urgent ones that can be booked and this model works for patients and is excellent.
All your staff are polite and the doctors I saw are both such nice doctors they are a credit to the Surgery.
I just thought you should know so you can congratulate everyone there that you are all doing a great job. |

Just a quick thank you for my recent visit to the practice!
Usually we book appointments online but on this occasion it was on behalf of my son. I telephoned on a morning, explained my reason for an appointment and the receptionist was great and explained available appointments that afternoon!
My appointment was scheduled with a new Dr and I must say she was fantastic! (All great Drs at this surgery by the way)! The subject was a little overwhelming for me and the doctor was so comforting and understanding, provided some encouraging support for me and my son. Thank you doctor, you'll be a great asset to the practice! |

I visited my health centre, Fairfield Park, after experiencing what I thought was mastitis. I went along to the walk-in and wait service on Monday 3 December and was only awaiting about 30 minutes before I was seen by a Dr at around 9.30. Upon examining me, he diagnosed it as a likely abscess and that I should be referred to the RUH immediately. He got on the phone to the breast clinic there and, as there was no immediate reply, he advised me that he would continue calling them and that I should prepare myself for an appointment.
Sure enough, I received a call from the RUH within 2 hours inviting me to attend their clinic immediately. By 12.30, I was examined by a consultant, followed-up with a mammogram, an ultrasound, treatment, and a further discussion with the consultants who prescribed a two week course of antibiotics. A follow-up appointment was made on the spot, and I was back home by 2.30pm. A service that no private healthcare could beat!
I wanted to share my experience and give praise to the Dr at Fairfield Park, and the team at the RUH. I nearly didn't go along that morning as I didn't want to "waste their time". I'm so glad I did! I was treated promptly and expediently, was taken seriously and was dealt with with professionalism, courtesy and respect.
