Good knowledgeable doctors, great nurses, non judgmental approach. Have had only one doctor that I felt was patronising, but otherwise great.
Considering the cuts in the NHS. This is the best surgery I've been to on the island. Thank you all. |

Over the recent years i have lost count of the (many times) i have visited the Doctors with this newly found congenital heart condition . I have been referred to the relevant departments on the Island and mainland each time. And at times when necessary iv'e been sent to A & E . Or they have called an ambulance for me. My treatment is on going with the help of Nurses and Doctors and not forgetting all other staff involved . At times was able to see the nurse for a ECG there and then with no appointment needed when i was ( really in need). Stressing that point ! Stressing the point in need !.. . I have found the nurses to be very well trained in there field above and beyond ! Even seeing a Doctor on the spot at there request. with no appointment necessary stressing again! when necessary. I have since had the heart operation. Sadly not all has gone to plan with the operation... More work to be done .. So please remember when in ( real need! ) they are there for us. Also remember when you are sat and waiting for your appointment and you are called in late . its probably that they may have been seeing people like my self . Taken time slots away from you. That were not mine. ........... The only thing i have found very very frustrating is having to see different Doctors all the time. And having to explain every thing again. And again ! I just fell that this can't be healthy for some patients . ! Thank you all ! |

My husband's repeat prescription never materialised on the electronic system, so as he needs his inhaler every day I put in a request for an urgent prescription today. He went down to pick it up at the agreed time and they just gave him a repeat prescription request firm. The receptionist said that was all they could Do!!
So we're now faced with Christmas without the very necessary inhaler. This is the latest in a very long list.
Stay away at all costs! |
