I tried to speak to someone because Southmead Hosp. telephoned this morning about the heart monitor I had inserted about two years ago. I reported that I had another serious fall on Tuesday, last 13th July, where I had a head wound and concussion so I clicked the bleeper. I was told to contact you at once, but after 30 minutes listening to repeated messages I gave up and decided to send this email. I did not bother the N.H.S. in any way last Tuesday. I do need to know what to do but being unable to talk to anyone feel helpless. R.C. Wood. |

I have been trying (unsuccessfully for three hours) to call your rooms for an urgent matter regarding the medication of one of your patients who was discharged by us on Monday and has run out of his meds. He also said that for some reason, you have not been able to access his discharge summary- so have not been able to review his newest Cardiology prescription. I also need to inform you of the death of another of your patients and trying to get hold of anybody in the Downend group has become a disappointing nightmare. There is no number for other healthcare professionals listed and no contact e-mail address. Your practice really does need to be more available and accessible. |
