Given a time slot for a telephone appointment today between 10-12, meanwhile 2 hours later no call back. I am working too! I had another appointment I have now cancelled. The same doctor called me 4 hours late last time. If you give a timeslot stick to it. I cannot just walk out of a work meeting to accommodate you. To make matters worse I was told I to go up to the practice to book this slot in person - what was the point. Cannot make a complaint via their website nor call as constantly engaged. |

Impossible to book an appointment. My son's pain relief medication is due to run out but has to see a Dr before it can be prescribed again - the earliest appointment is 5 days after his medication runs out. Receptionist just put phone down, no help or support whatsoever.
Booking appointments is a huge problem. Constantly told no appointments available call back tomorrow. I have in the past called every day for 2 weeks before securing an appointment, when I did it felt like winning the lottery!
The service is appalling. If you are trying to cut down on people visiting the drs you are succeeding but unfortunately that means serious illnesses are being ignored. I almost gave up trying to get through but managed to get an appointment for 2 weeks later and was then diagnosed with cancer! I had put off ringing for 3 months because of the poor service.
I have fed back to the surgery before but no notice has been taken. I have now changed surgery and the difference in care and support is fantastic - I would rate excellent against all the criteria above. Reply from Fireclay Health Fri, 27 Sep 2019 08:50:38 +0100 I am very sorry to hear that you have been dissatisfied with the level of care you have received from Fireclay Health and I am genuinely sorry to hear that you have moved surgeries. Appointment availability is an area we are constantly looking at, we are in the process of recruiting additional allied health professionals to assist with the growing demand. Patient feedback helps to inform us of what we do well and where we need to focus attention, I therefore thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
