My mum Mrs Harnden tried and tried to get a face to face appointment with her new doctor since Covid. She struggled to get passed the receptionist and when she did her GP told her that her symptoms was because she was getting old. Thid didn't do my mums blood pressure any good, it wound her up. The GP contacted her to take away medications, how can you do that when you have not performed any medical consultations. My mum was entitled to medical care through the NHS which she had received from her previous GP's. My mum died on the 17th September 2022 and in my opinion this GP let her down.

Trying to actually talk to a doctor is hard enough. Waiting ages on phone with terrible music , half the time it just stops ringing and goes dead! The receptionists are usually helpful but you have to wait days or weeks for your allocated (not chosen) GP. If lucky enough to get a phone back appointment my doctor has little interest and makes me feel like I am keeping them from something important. (My last call was over in one minute and my doctor didn't even ask how I was!) I have several medical conditions needing help it is just not worth the effort! Face to face appointments and caring need to come back, it's not just about time management.

Truly poor practice that should be stripped of funding. What do these Doctors actually do? My wife had a telephone appointment, once she passed the unqualified clerical Gestapo, with someone called Bristol today which was as much use as a chocolate radiator. The same highly trained well paid professional that once asked me what I thought was wrong with my wife 1 week before she ended up in Gloucester hospital for 3 weeks with a serious illness. You are better off checking Google as that is what Mcdowall or what ever her name is did with me the last time I set foot in the place. It would be funny if I didn't know how much these individuals got paid and how little they actually do in the community compared to what they should be doing. It's not a service it's a pain and I wonder how many people don't bother because of their experiences in the past with this lot and just suffer despite paying their salaries. Rubbish is not strong enough for these over paid underworked time wasters.
