I have been a patient @ The Moore Health Centre for the past 4 years and I have found all the staff; receptionists, nurses and doctors to be extremely efficient and helpful with a variety of health issues. Compared with our previous surgery the generally lethargic attitude and lack of medical competence to diagnose is a whole new experience, it would seem the slow life has taken on a new meaning.
To be fair the surgery is staffed by a revolving door of locums and many are hopeless, after many years I have never met the doctor I am registered with, but have on two occasions been asked to attend an appointment and then the doctor has no idea why.
Beware the unrelenting diabetes and asthma recruitment campaign and make absolutely sure to check your records to see what is being written on your file, repeat prescriptions are so chaotic they provide endless entertainment and if they say a doctor or nurse will call you there is a very good chance it will not occur. We have 8 GP partners and patients are able to book appointments with the GP of their choice.
