We joined the practice just under a year ago and have experienced positive things in every way, from initially signing on as new patients, through to our treatments and always friendly and helpful staff. Nothing is ever too much trouble if you are polite when asking. We would recommend this practice to others. My younger sister had an appointment with the Brunston practice, for the 1st time since being registered. She's completed treatment for chemotherapy for a brain tumour, following surgery and radiotherapy. However, this has left her with severe facial nerve pain, so she went to see the GP. He had no medical records to hand, just a consultant letter. My sister mentioned the medication she had previously, and it failed to work, however the GP's response was, "you can't seem to take any medication very well for pain relief", which wasn't very helpful to her whatsoever. She came away after a long wait, and no further advice/support or medication, so a complete waste of time. She never complains, but I feel the need to as her sibling, and for the sake of other patients too.
In addition to this having moved from Mitcheldean surgery to Brunston (not a million miles way), the courier has lost my sisters and my medical notes, somewhere along the way, and we registered back in June 2016.
I just hope and pray I'm not ill too often if ever! |

I can’t begin to say how grateful I am for my doctor's thorough and thoughtful care. I got an appointment within a day and he put my mind at rest by getting my the referrals I needed and putting me in touch with the right departments. My broken finger is now on the mend and my other issues are being dealt with. Many thanks. |
