Treatment is usually good and staff are pleasant. Consultations sometimes feel rushed which I feel is down to the GP trying to claw back some of the time he/she is overrunning by. At times an hour wait after the appointment time has occurred. Trying to get an appointment is difficult with wait times of up to 3 weeks. Appoointmnet times are available on the day BUT the surgery has to be pjhoned at 8 and the lines are jammed by then so i have never sucessfully managed to make an on the day appoitment this way. I have been told I could wait at the surgery until all the doctors have finished their shifts but it wiyld be a long wait. online appoitmnets are at inconvenient times. I don't want to over emphasis these negatives as the surgery is quite good but with a few changes could be very good. | ||||||

I find the staff at Doveriver Practice Polite and Respectful when call them either for an enquiry or an appointment. I book my appointments advance via online and if i need quick advice a telephone consultation with your doctors is great to arrange without taking up the space in the waiting room or the appointments. You can either choose which Dr you regular see or you are able to see any Dr if you want a quicker appointment. Treatments nurses are polite and offer great support as well.
The surgery is clean and tidy. Waiting times are not always adhered to and you may be delayed due to other patients spending more than the allocated time which does not bother me or others when I've been in the waiting room. They now have new tv which displays when it's your turn to see the doctor and would help if they could display a waiting delay time to be seen might ease those who are worried. My GP has paid special care and attention to the symptoms I have described and managed to identify the problem I have had for more than a year now, while other doctors from 2 practices have failed to do so. Having got to the right answer, they then did extra testing to ensure we'd missed nothing.
I really like their attention to detail and the way they listen to the problems. It's a real relief to have the issue identified and a plan to stop it.
