Hopeless. Phone line cuts off when the queue is 30 callers long, else is a 1 hour wait. Nothing gets done first time, always multiple calls to chase. Very poor mental health support. In a mental health crisis for a family member they offer either an appointment in 1 weeks time or just tell you to ring the police. Utterly hopeless, utterly disgraceful. |

I waited on hold for 30 minutes this afternoon to make an appointment for a smear test having received a reminder letter, only to be told that the receptionist was unable to make the appointment and would have to ring me back. My husband also received a text message to say that he had missed a blood test appointment today. However he had received a call last week from the surgery to advise him that the surgery was too busy to undertake the blood test and he would need to make an appointment at Landseer Road. Poor administration. |

Called today with my partner the temperature outside is about 4 degrees and with wind chill factor probably -2 so very cold , my partner rang the door intercom she could plainly see the receptionist who ignored my partner leaving her to freeze on the step this is disgusting as like most people that call at the surgery are probably sick . Watching her standing outside made my blood boil so I joined her and the receptionist then answered the intercom in no uncertain terms I told them I was not happy and he then admitted us I said it's not fair too make people wait in the cold he was apologetic and said he was a trainee after having dealings with the receptionist in the past I could understand what sort of training he was getting some of the receptionist's are very rude at this surgery !! This kind of treatment of patient's is unacceptable my partner is not old but judging by this episode the practice manager need's to get a grip as it maybe an old and vulnerable patient next time . What has happened to the caring NHS is this the kind of treatment patient's can expect in the future where are the Doctors that we all pay our NI for I'm absolutely livid . |
