Have been a patient for 1year, have found the receptionists very helpful and obliging. Yesterday, 27/3, I had a problem with a prescription. which was created by another chemist, and it was immediately resolved by the Orchard receptionist ,Lara. Very well done! | ||||||

Orchard street is by far the best doctors surgery. And this is based purely on the doctors and nurses you have at this Practise. Unfortunately I myself have experienced some very unsatisfactory customer services via the reception staff. It's a nightmare to get through to the reception desk via phone. When the call is picked up you are not met with friendliness, yet a rather fed up receptionists who clearly take their daily stresses out on the patients that are calling in. I first hand have received this kind of treatmant from the reception staff who for what ever reason make patients feel a bit of a pain so to speak for asking for an appointment to see the gp. Although it was a gp that had requested I book the appointment. Unfortunately it happens all too often here. If your not the strongest of people mentally or suffer with mental health I advise you do not attend here. Purely because before you get an appointment your self worth will be demoralised by the front desk staff. It's sad, I've been with this surgery most of my life. Unfortunately the doctors and nurses work is overshadowed by the first faces we are faced with. RECEPTIONISTS ARE DIABOLICAL. I am sorry that you have found your experience with the receptionists to be less than positive, we always receive very positive feedback regarding our reception team and i am keen to find out what has gone wrong on this occasion. We have regular team meetings and i will be sure to bring up the issues that you have raised with the receptionists. We have recently increased our workload greatly and this maybe a reason why you have had to wait longer for the phones to be answered, this is something that we are looking into and hope to improve in the near future. This surgery is a breath of fresh air, friendly, helpful receptionists are able to allocate appointments easily - usually on the same day if required.
There is a car park and I have never had trouble finding a space. | ||||||
